Cibit
A World War Two Spitfire has flown for the first time in more than 70 years after undergoing a three-year restoration costing £3m. Pilot John Romain took off from Duxford in Cambridgeshire and plans more air testing "over the next couple of days". Its initial post-restoration flight on 11 March had to be cancelled because of a problem with its carburettor. Spitfire NH341 flew 27 combat missions between June and July 1944 before it was shot down near Caen in France. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-39529403 i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
DoomEngine
Kind of a shame they converted it into a trainer- really ruins its iconic looks, but I suppose having the extra seat will allow them to charge for joyrides to cover that repair cost.
