Would it be possible to have a survey for DCS WWII like is currently available for the F16?

More ww2 aircraft/varients...ie razorback 51 and 47, different 109 and FW varients, a griffon spit/ spit nine with 66engine, p38, p40, some Pacific era senerio .....lol I know I'm being facetious, but in a way I am serious and want all of those ...plus flyable bombers .......let's get another kick starter started!

The single most WW2 request I have for ED is to step up the work on the new Damage Model and give it to us.

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Give us a German level bomber, AI at least. As a counterpart to the B-17. Simplest way of doing that would be to enable the j u-88 to be able to drop bombs rather than only torpedoes.

109G-6 (with LOTS of mods available to be ticked on or off in the ME)

Would it be possible to have a survey for DCS WWII like is currently available for the F16?

I can run it by Kate and Nick, but I am not sure it's as cut and dry as the Viper or Hornet, with WWII we are talking more about many different modules and core features to support it. But I will see what they say.

Most wanted "feature" for me and many, many others is an introduction of REDFOR aircraft, russian in particular. Be it Yak-1B, MiG-3, Il-2, Su-15, Su-17, Tu-28, not even dreaming about Su-24/25 or early MiG-29/Su-27. I think we had enough "blue" winged computers for our lifetime.

I'd much rather we dont get any new aircraft from either different time periods or theaters/fronts unless there is a map planned for them to play in.

Anyways, thanks Nineline

Nineline ran a similar survey just over 2 years ago. Ref: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=205750

That only covers further modules, I would like to see more than that in this survey... I. E. Damage Model, AI Aircraft, bomb load outs, delay fuse...

My WWII wishlist at the moment is very short.

Optimized VR performance.

The biggest drawback to the WWII for VR flyers is the difficulty in eliminating re-projection in a dogfight. Anytime you are looking at the enemy against the terrain, the enemy aircraft re-projects. Depending on the hardware, the problem is a slight blurriness all the way up to a second image of the aircraft flying in close formation.

Also, VR friendly prop textures that pass IC.

If I had only one thing to ask (for WW2 and modern) :

More variety for static objects (house, sandbags, ...) to place on map and optimisation to be able to create bigger mission.

Love to create mission, but It feel so limited when I want to populate an area and create ground targets.

Second this, also the addition of more period ships for Russia, Germany, UK and US.

For instance, right now a "Insurgent Boat" from the Caucasus map is one of your options for Third Reich, looks very out of place.

Have some nice raid and bombing missions that I am creating but you can only place the U Boat, the Schnell torpedo boat, and one US destroyer and LST type, Russia and UK bring nothing to the table, especially for smaller faster boats or are just copies of the US LST.

Boats like the Koenigsburg and Karlsruhe, along with a Kirov would be welcome!

I would like to see skip bombing implicated.

Yep, it is a bit irritating however hopefully it has served it's purpose and they are discussing if it is worth running a survey.

Please could a mod lock this thread.

Thank you
