One example is the little tanker that flies off the super carrier, another is the civilian traffic, the models are so bad, little box cars. Yes, ED have said and have slowly been fixing up old models. Yes for point two, they also accept model donations if it's up to standard (and you can prove it's yours). Fancy trying Star Citizen? Lots of AI 3D models need updation and only some in the roadmap plans. Su-30 is missing. With the upcoming graphical engine enhancements, those models would look completely out of place.
