Thanks for the update! One issue I found the RWR ring lights around the radar are still out of sync with the game....almost seems like the exact opposite.

I just put up the Viggen Ikanus pit and did not see the RWR so did you add that yourself?

 

The Viggen dosen't have an acual RWR screen it has lights that light up with a tone around the radar screen ...they should tell the direction of the single and the tone tells you what it might be.

Okay. I have not flown the Viggen for some time and thought I saw a radar screen. However, I know that Helios and simpit can work together, but I have never been able to do it. There are instructions in simpit to do it, but it is beyond my skills. If you want to work on this with me, let me know and perhaps we can solve the problem.

 

 

Do you have a link to those directions? I'm not that good with this shite either but I'll take a look.

This is the outdated version of the documentation.

Here is the link to the current version.

 

From ExportScript version 1.0.0, only DAC and Ikarus are supported as the target for the data.

 

The previous versions could either supply Helios or HawgTouch in addition to DAC.

But since these applications are no longer developed, we no longer support them.

 

 

At the end, the software is called "Ikarus".

It looks like that, that in the actual version of the Viggen the radar viewport is not supported.

 

But there is always a solution. Does anyone know already?

In the Viggen Ikanus profile, I assume the large circle cutout is for the radar scope. So my question is: I have set up my radar scope to appear on my second monitor in the game's monitor config file. When I launch Ikanus and then the Ikanus Viggen profile on screen two, and finally launch the game, my second screen goes black and none of the gauges from Ikanus appears. How do you have a viewport on the second screen as well as the Ikanus gauges? I know that you can do that in Helios (that is-Helios is on top of the black second screen), but I don't know how to do that in Ikanus.

Where or what is Ikanus?

 

I see no problem. The Ikarus windows are on the top of my second monitor with the radar in the background.

 

Do you use fullscreen rendering for DCS?

It seemed that sometimes I would start Ikarus by clicking the Ikarus Viggen module rather than first the actual Ikarus file and then loading the Viggen module.

I would like to fly the Su-27/33 using Ikarus for the cockpit on my second screen except that I would like the radar screen to show up also on my second screen using the viewport config in the game.

 

I cannot figure out how to create a hole in the Ikarus screen (like in the Ikarus Viggen profile) so that the radar screen would show through. Any suggestions?
