Default TAS for HARM

Basically HTS for the F/A-18, very ingeniously integrated into the outboard pylons.

Probably best summed up in this article, which is a great read...

[TAS is in most detail starting at 'Targetting Recievers for HARM']

i never did find any indication the navy adopted tas

afaik the way navy does sead, ea-6bs did all the targeting and hand them off to fa-18s, so an hts type solution wasnt really needed?

I was also intrigued by this but couldn’t find any indication USN Hornets used this system. Sadly we will probably have to wait for the F-16 to get a HTS pod for all our SEAD fun.

Right now I will go for having functional HARMs back!

This may mean ALR-67V3, while the game only has ALR-67V. It's very old.

ALR-67 V2 after ECP 510 ,has passive rangefinding。It exists in TAC-300 in 2001, but it does not exist in games.

From what I have read the V2 requires the presence of another aircraft to give certain features. This does not... it essentially functions the same as HTS on the F-16.

This is disappointing. Without AMU, TAMMCA, VMF and normal TAWS, DCS F-18C is very much like an early LOT 20 with some later weapons.
