Dry Lake Color

Recommended Posts

Some of the dry lakes look fine on the Nevada map, but lakes like "Bear Paw" (NE of Tonopah Test and South of Lunar Crater) are far darker and almost impossible to see on 2.1. In the real world, Bear Paw stands out and is used extensively as a visual geo reference.

Most of the lakes look pretty good, but a quick check of Google Earth might be in order. The lakes are pretty "white" from the air.

Viewpoints are my own.
