HMD not centered in VR

I cant use the HMD in VR as it is too far to the left of center and when I look straight into the HUD the HMD is about 45° to the left and the right side of the Circle goes straight through the center of the HUD. I have to look so far to the left with my right eye, I cant see whats in front of me and I am cross-eyed.

I've inquired a few times on if this is a bug or is there a way to align the HMD but it just keeps getting moved to "HMD wanted for both eyes..." which is has nothing to do with what I am experiencing nor do I want it for both eyes. change IPD does not help.

There is an Align button in the HMD DDi page but I guess its not functional yet.

Does anyone know where or which lua in DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Scripts\HMD controls its visual display location in game?

Could it be that your view is not centered? HMD is drawn in the center of the view, so there is high possibility that something wrong with your view.

I thought that but, everything else is centered like pressing escape and the menu shows up centered to where I am looking. Other games when I aim or look at things in front they too are centered. Its just the HMD reticle that appears to far to the left. Its almost like its drawing in front of my nose and not in front of my right eye.

In your track I see that your view is not centered. It is turned nearly 3 degrees left, 5 degrees up and is moved to the left a bit. I attached sccreenshot from the beginning of the track (9th second) and my screenshot with completely centered view.

I dont know a way to fix it other than physically hold the headset to my face at an angle to make it visually centered... cant fly with it like that...

By default the recenter command is KP5.

HMD display only appears on the right side screen. This is by design and accurate to the real thing.

Yes, I know. It appears in up and to the left of center in the right eye. Even after centering. The issue is not it only appearing in one eye but there is no way to realgign the HMD if it is not centered.

Sounds like a lua file is messed up somewhere with the views, I'm sure you did a repair and all, sorry I can't be more help. Is your tracking ok other than the messed up center?

Yes, repaired. Still present. The only thing I can think of thats causing this is the VR Headset doesnt sit perfectly centered on my face. even though I visually see it as centered.

I have no other noticeable issues with any other VR Games or any modules i own. It is just the HMD reticle that is not centered.

Well it's not supposed to be centered. In real life it is only a right-eye monocular. Wags has stated that they are looking into making an option to change the default behavior; you'll have to wait and see what they come up with.

I am almost 100% positive the issue is how its defined and recentering doesnt change that. It seems set to the dead center of the VR's panel and not the visible "sweet spot" where the lens are best viewed while on my head. When I un-check the "Use Mouse" in the VR Settings, that too is slightly up and to the left of my visual center.

My dude, please read the issue. It is supposed to be centered on the right eye.

Well I never read where you said it was off-center for the right eye, just that it wasn't centered. If I missed it, so be it.
