a wonderful addition to the WWII fleet of fighters in DCS. Check out the WIP pictures below.

The Channel Map is in final alpha testing and receiving a lot of attention, especially with regards to
optimisation and functionality during this test phase. We are really looking forward to showing this highly
detailed terrain to you in the nearest future. The P47 screenshots are all taken in the Channel Map and

Default Free for All - Supercarrier News

May 8th 2020

Dear Pilots, Friends and Partners,

Yesterday and today are very special days in history. The act of military surrender was first signed
at 02:41 on the 7th of May in SHAEF HQ at Reims and a slightly modified document was signed on
the 8th of May in Berlin. This instrument of surrender stipulated that all hostilities must cease at
23:01CET on the 8th of May, just an hour before midnight. The world celebrates this great victory
over Nazi Germany with solemn respect for the 60 million dead and the Queen’s 75th anniversary
VE Day address will be broadcast on the BBC today at 21:00GMT.

Our Free for All event runs for another 10 days and we are pleased to announce that this event has
been a huge success as even more users around the world than we expected have enjoyed our free
modules. Please do take advantage of the closing days. We truly hope this gives you a chance to
discover something new and special.

We continue to develop and bug fix DCS: Supercarrier for an Early Access release later this month
and we hope to be providing a preview to our partners and social media channels next week.

Based on customer feedback, one of the most important new Hornet features is the addition of the
Air-to-Ground (AG) radar mode. This uses our new proprietary AG radar simulation available for both
Eagle Dynamics and 3rd party aircraft.

Thank you for your passion and support.

Yours sincerely,

The Eagle Dynamics Team

Free for All
Don't miss out

We know that most of our modules have steep learning curves. Aircraft such as the MiG-15 Fagot,
F-86F Sabre, F-5E Tiger II and the L-39 Albatros can bridge the gap. During the event, we encourage
you to spend time gaining knowledge and expertise. Don’t forget that if you really like one of our products,
you will benefit from a 50% discount until the 19th of May, should you wish to make a purchase.

components for large servers, tuning the Landing Signal Officer station, revising AI landing
behaviour, as well as enhancing final model textures and deck lighting.

The Raytheon AN/APG-73 radar is also used to map, navigate, locate and designate moving
land and sea targets. Our initial AG radar release will include the Ground Map (MAP) mode
with target designation. The EXP sub-modes will be added at a later date.

Default Free for All - Final Hours

May 15th 2020

Dear Fighter Pilots, partners and friends

The ‘Free for All event’ is coming to a close on the 19th of May. We truly hope you have had
a chance to discover something new and special. Please note that the Steam Free For All Sale
started on the 13th and will continue until the 27th of May. Enjoy!

Our external multiplayer beta testers have been doing a sterling job, permitting us to debug
most of the issues we were facing with DCS: Supercarrier. Thanks to all those who worked so
hard to move the needle here, you know who you are. The wait has been long and the workload
intense, so thank you all for your patience! The Early Access release is just around the bend so
make sure to check out Supercarrier: Quick Start and Supercarrier: Mission Generation.

We would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to visit the Virtual Airshows Group who
are hosting their “2020 Wings Over Tbilisi Event” on the 19th of May at 14:00 GMT.
Check out the schedule.

Thank you again for all your patience, passion and support.

Yours sincerely,

The Eagle Dynamics Team

Final Hours
Last chance

The Free for All event has been one of our most rewarding yet, bringing together our global
community of developers, aviators and enthusiasts who enjoy trial access to all of our modules.
It has provided an opportunity to showcase skills, gain expertise and given us a chance to
learn as we work and to build a better flight combat experience.

Supercarrier
Development Report

The release of DCS: Supercarrier into Early Access required dozens of our teammates to
ensure operations are as realistic as possible. A special review version of Supercarrier has
been delivered to a number of journalists and opinion leaders and we expect some early
feedback in the coming week.

DCS: Supercarrier will support English, Russian, German, French and Chinese.

We continue to debug multiplayer components for large servers and tune AI landing
behaviour. Deck crew logic, deck lighting and final model textures are also being enhanced.

Take advantage of the last few days of Pre-Sales pricing and save 50% off DCS: Supercarrier.

Wings Over Tbilisi
Virtual Airshow

This Sunday 17th of May, the Virtual Airshows Group will take to the sky for the
"Wings Over Tbilisi 2020" virtual airshow. We encourage you to sit back and enjoy
this marvellous display of accuracy and coordination, only in DCS World. Tune in on Twitch.

With this hopefully, successful loosening of ‘lockdown’ we trust you will remain
healthy and happy. Thank you again for all your dedication to DCS!

Yours sincerely,

The new Open Beta encompasses a large number of updates to the environment.
A number of Campaigns have also been revised to ensure that they are compat-
ible and accessible.

The F/A-18C Hornet and F-16C Viper have both received major updates. We have
done what we can to include many of the community's requests, especially in
regards to the Hornet’s litening pod. Our third-party partners have also been hard
at work with updates to the M-2000 Mirage and the AV-8B Night Attack by RAZBAM.
Notably, Heatblur Simulations have released substantial updates to the F-14B Tomcat
and the ASJ37 Viggen.
