flavnet
I look forward to the functionality of the JHMCS in fact, currently, the AIM9X is not very effective. When is this expected to happen? Thanks in advance for your reply
Eaglewings
Have been away from set to try the Aim9x. But I have seen some videos of the weapon and it looks good and effective at bringing down aircraft at a really large offset angle. The major essence of the JHMCS to my understanding is to help the pilot lock up target at large offset angle. Care to elaborate on not effective so I would be guided. Yes, you can lock using the 9X offset but it's more than this. You can see target lock outside the HUD area even for other AA missiles and you can see basic info without looking in the HUD ( speed , altitude , bearing , waypoint selected , etc ) . I'm not sure you can select point of interest on the ground when in A/G mode.
flavnet
In my opinion, the only function of visual tracking has enormous value. Especially when the engagement limits are much wider than those mounted on the russian fighters.
