Free trial question

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I hope this isn't a daft question but if I've downloaded aircraft in the free trial period and then decide to purchase, do I need to uninstall them and then purchase and re-download,or do I just purchase and ED will give an unlock key or similar to validate the download permanently. Cheers all.

Just purchase, no key needed .. the module will get added to your online profile and DCS will just work .. no need to uninstall the trial modules.

Thanks for that. It would have been a pain to uninstall, reinstall and the rebind all the keys. Cheers!

Just so you know, you can back up controls here:

C:\Users\<name>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input

In case you ever do need to reinstall and want to avoid manually rebinding.

  • ED Team

Hi all

From the latest 2.5.5 onward all products are keyless, so as long as it is purchased it will remain on your account.

thanks
