Swear I saw it somewhere, but cant seem to find it so maybe I imagined it. But anywho, has there been any mention of coupled sequential autopilot? Or coupled steering in general.

I heard that it will all be in there IAW NATOPS manual. It should be pretty slick, especially once the ACLS comes online. (I want to manually fly my landings, but having autoland will be very useful for some flights!)

Yeah, especially nice after a long successful mission where (at least in my case) a ramp strike looks highly likely. Just be all like "Hornet Ball. 2.3 - AUTO" and then come aboard first try lol

I think coupled steering will be nice for my friends who want to learn to fly form. I can just hit the button and then watch them try while I sit back and relax in VR looking at the new pretties. Well until one or all of us die lol.

It will be interesting though, most of my Hornet experience is with the VRS Superbug. While glancing through the NATOPS (as one does in this hobby) it appears that the CPL modes are all in the AMPCD/HSI whereas the Super has it on the UFC.

Fantastic news with the hornet, and i'm much enjoying the mini-updates. Im sure itll be a fantastic module, and i pre-ordered as soon as i could. Be that as it may, I was a bit shocked that you're accepting people's money, but planning release between april and end of spring (likely the latter considering it took months to get the thing to start up after the cockpit familiriasation video).

Will the additional months be used to expand the features for early access or are the planned features unchanged?

Well, early pre-orders are pretty normal in the gaming industry these days. Pretty early for ED I would say. But nonetheless, the date was so they could say hey you will have it by this date, but that is the worst case scenario trying to account for unforeseen issues, you may get it earlier.

Anywho, less of a "Will this be in?" question more of a "Does this do what I think it does?" question. I was looking at the newest pic released today (sexy btw ) and noticed the HUD Video Control switch on the HUD Controller. That switch does this:

Does that mean we can put Navigational FLIR on the HUD? or is NFLR something else cause the natops doesn't explicitly say what NFLR is but is usually near FLIR.

EDIT: Not sure if this was posted, but here is our Hornet IRL. At least according the BuNo in the latest media of the DCS Hornet (BuNo 165407)

NavFlir should be part of the Attachment Adapter for the ATFLIR

seem to recall mention that navflir though a component of atflir, was not actually functional in service?

there wasnt a cut and dry answer re whether ed would choose to model it or not

Will AIM-9L have more visible rocket motor smoke than AIM-9M?

like the reflect effect of the MPCD but, why can the symbols be read over the reflection?? guess won't be like that when they release the hornet right?

Yes, known issue. The material is work in progress.
