SSG_HALO Posted November 21, 2019 Share Posted November 21, 2019 Has anyone else been experiencing an IFF issue with the hornets and other aircraft. With IFF on DL on and a manual interrogation once locked I am still seeing confirmed hostile over friendly units. It is intermittent. Am I doing something wrong? I have also noticed an increase in friendly fire incidents with people saying they had confirmed me hostile as well. Is this a known bug I haven't seen it posted anywhere? Is AWACS available in the mission and feeling the datalink or is it a contact from one of the wingmen? Ambiguous HAFU’s (yellow) could be that the target hadn’t turned on his IFF, and you didn’t get a view of his engines from close enough in on the right aspect for nctr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

maths314 Posted November 28, 2019 Share Posted November 28, 2019 Remember it's not just no mode 4 response and NCTR print, it's any two sources that don't give a response, i.e. 2 F-18 mode 4 interrogates, 1 F-18 and awacs, 1 F-18 IFF and 1 F-16 NCTR, etc...
