WildBillKelsoe
A while ago, Wags posted RFI for M1 tank. Is that a planned feature of CA to have high fidelity cockpit style switch heaven for that tank in CA? And if so, when can we expect it? AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow. ED Team NineLine Posted April 17, 2015 ED Team Share Posted April 17, 2015 A while ago, Wags posted RFI for M1 tank. Is that a planned feature of CA to have high fidelity cockpit style switch heaven for that tank in CA? And if so, when can we expect it? There has been no official announcement on this yet. There have been hints towards a ground vehicle module, but nothing firm. What a ground vehicle module would entail, nobody knows either... whether they would be 3D clickable cockpits or what... just too little info right now. 609_Relentov
Lots of exciting stuff in the works for CA, I do hope this will be one of them as well. I wish one of them was to remove the ability of AI armoured units to see through forests (like I can't) and pick my armoured vehicle off! That and for the lowest experience setting for AI units (average) to actually miss once in a while when they start shooting at me! These are IMO two of the biggest CA game play negatives to me... Here's hoping!

Here's hoping! The site thing, I am hoping would be resolved with tree collisions, but I am not sure how that all works, so we will just have to see. As for the AI settings... I know that AI is getting a heavy look at right now, maybe that one will make the list. Sabre-TLA
Likewise, I can't wait for some CA specific modules and more vehicles in CA. I hope the tree collisions thingy doesn't break our current BVTQ Campaign! For the AI shooting through buildings, trees, etc in the mission editor you can script the enemy units to only return fire which means you get a chance to shoot them first. It's not ideal but at least they won't kill you from some hidden location. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates

Call911
Clickable turret/hull w/dual cockpit on M1/T72 or any CA vehicle with driver/Gunner/TC/loader etc, now that would be sumptin :D I recall WAGS requesting info awhile back on the M1 but had'nt seen anything since. Not sure if all info relating an M1 is still classified(least the armor side of things). Edited April 18, 2015 by Call911

The old map has limits to what can be done to it as it wont have the performance benefits, at least to the degree, that the new maps will... Arcto10
Svtony: I can drive up the mountains, on grass etc etc fine in CA. Never had an issue (Bought it January).
ED Team NineLine Posted April 22, 2015 ED Team Share Posted April 22, 2015 Will be able to drive the vehicles around on anything other than concrete roads? I bought and tried combined arms a couple of times last year, but lost all interest after attempting to drive tanks that would suddenly become immobile, because I took them onto some grass... I have had very few problems, there are times when the terrain geometry is not kind to CA, but for the most part I dont have an issue. ED Team NineLine Posted April 23, 2015 ED Team Share Posted April 23, 2015 Interestingly enough, I just tried driving around a T-72 and I don't seem to be having any issues anymore. Might have been some user error on my part. There are bad spots on the map for sure though, so maybe you just found a bad area... calibro8185
If he was driving around a water source, there have been times I have lost a tank to "sinking" into the water or swampy area next to it.
