SUBS17 Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 The graphic card doesn't care about what's rendering... I doubt that little animation eats so much power. What I observed is that looking at the dashboard tends to eat a bit more FPS... understandable since is the most complicated thing in that pit. So if you have overheat you have anyway but especially when you put the GPU to work a bit more (lower FPS being a sign of it). Solutions would be... better heat control in PC case. In my case its not slow FPS but the screen gets replaced by a grey screen then it flickers back to the sim. If this continues in some cases there is a ctd and it is stuck on the grey screen.:doh: The shaking vibration animation is what seemed to cause this over a period of time of continuous shaking. By slowing down below 90kts the shaking stopped and I was able to complete the mission. On some machines this maybe an issue it could be either memory or the graphics card.
