Of course lol. The girlfriend will be very upset if I'm trying to use a computer while away with her on what's supposed to be a romantic birthday vacation.

Although I can't wait to also get back to flying after months of not doing so and waiting for a better resolution.

How'd you get the serial number before you got your package, is it listed somewhere?

Yes the 31st week is after they resumed manufacturing with fixes according to everything I was told and read.

Here is the manufacturer date structure for the Reverb according to HP.

Example SN: CCSYWWZZZZ

Y = Year

WW = Week within that year.

Oh and mine was made on the 31st week, so 2 weeks ago. I guess that means this is a good one?

Hopefully my Inateck USB card holds up. It's been giving me issues lately. It says I don't have the power to run the Rift S, then the message goes away and it's fine. Lol

Might just buy a Startech so I don't have to worry about it.

If you are only using the 1 port the Inateck should be fine. They only have 1 controller. Oculus recommends the Startech or RocketU which have multiple controllers on the multiport boards. My ASUS Z390-E MB has been fine on the 3.1 Gen 2 ports.

Yeah that's what's odd. I'm only using 1 port and it reports a bandwidth issue. It's a few years old though now and some of these USB cards don't seem to last very long for some people or so I hear. It was cheap so I want expecting much. Lol

The PC power supplies tend to fail over time as well.

Pleasant surprise. Been following this thread for months and just ordered my Reverb from HP on Tuesday (upgrading from Vive Pro). Did t expect it til end of next week and it arrived today! May need to lean on many of you guys for setup and tweaking. Never used WMR before but have the beta module installed in steam already. Can’t wait! Thanks to all you guys that have been doing the heavy lifting reporting on the Reverb and setup over last several months.

Just to make sure I’m reading the thread correctly. Those made in the 31st week are the new ones?

I am guessing since about two weeks to three weeks ago from what my tech guy told me. The trouble is knowing how/when they get assigned the serial numbers. Hopefully at the very end of the process.

Where did you hear 31st weeks? Mine is the 25th week and I have had none of the original issues with high temp, flickering or screen loss.
