DCS updater checking everytime for available space on the drive

Last time I had to upload my game there wasn't enough space left on my SSD where DCS is installed so, when the updater advised me, I changed the download directory to be on my HDD. But now that I have deleted some files on my SSD and there is the space for unpacking there the files, the updater still unpacks them on my HDD (which also takes longer).

Is it possible to let it check every time the space on the DCS drive and prioritize it?

Thanks :)
