Default EGT limit?

Just a question, anybody here reached the EGT limit in flight?
Is this possible or not implemented?

Yes I did a few times while running throttle on max. The engine then appears to lose a lot of power and you can't increase it over like 80% thrust.

Never happened to me... Even though I often put the throttle at 100% and leave it there. Why? Laziness...

What do you think caused it?

Depends on weather? Try super hot and flying low on full ab?

A very rare occurrence on my behalf here. And when it happened to me, it was due to damage taken in battle, but never whilst cruising.
