Favourite way to down B-17's?

One of my favourite things to do in DCS is down a formation of B-17's, with or without P-51 escort.

At the moment, my favourite tool to do this, is the MiG-15. It's fast enough but not too fast, and only a few hits with that 37mm cannon are neccessary to disintegrate the target. Problems are that the MiG-15 is difficult to do deflection shooting with, due to low projectile velocity, and that the B-17 is quite well armed!

I'm not yet sufficiently familiar with it, but maybe the MiG-19 will be even more effective than the MiG-15.

Before you say "but that's not realistic" I would like to point out that:

1) In the Suez Crisis of 1956, Israel flew B-17's and Egypt MiG-15's and could have met.

The MiG-19 was introduced in 1955.

The B-17 was still being used by the CIA in 1962 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_COLDFEET

The last country to have the B-17 in active duty was Brazil (until 1968 )

So, what's your favourite B-17 destroyer?

I have none, in part due to a lack of WW2 asset pack.

I like taking the 109 and drop down from high onto them and tear them into pieces without getting hit. After that, I climb, rince and repeat till I'm out of ammo.
