Sarah Posted July 18, 2018 Share Posted July 18, 2018 when I fire this up..... the edm extractor wondow opens up fine...no problem running it..my problem is, I cant find the actual files its looking for. I assumed it to mean you would point it at your dds file directories with description.lua and it would pull it all apart etc and generate an LUA based on what you had. Grajo Posted September 1, 2018 Share Posted September 1, 2018 Hi, I am trying to extract the info from the same emd file: Cockpit_Spitfire_LFMkIX.EDM Basically: Mods stored in the folder: Mods\aircraft\SpitfireLFMkIX\Cockpit\Textures\Cockpit_Spitfire_LFMkIX_Textures Seen not to work anymore?:( ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using description.LUA in folder: Mods\aircraft\SpitfireLFMkIX\Liveries\Cockpit_Spitfire_LFMkIX\default and placing texture mod there still works so far. Need this wonderful tool to get the material+texture name for correct description.LUA editing and texture replacements for Spitfire Cockpit WIP Mod. Thank you very much for the work so far uboats. I can open its EDM file only in ModelViewer2, but it doesn't show me exactly which texture uses which DDS file. Other than this, I have no tool to see/get/create the list for the description lua. Since latest edm has its format updated, my tool no longer works for edm created by latest edm tool (version newer than Jan 2018 i guess).
