It's a little faint but its there. LeCuvier Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 In the latest hotfix they have indeed added an orangish tint to the front glass of the canopy. This is clearly visible when you compare the file "f18c_cpt-glass_diff.dds" between the stable release and open beta in Photoshop. They have added a light-orange shape that seems to overlay the front glass. That file is in "...\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Textures\FA-18C-CPT-TEXTURES.zip". They have also made the HUD tint a little lighter in the same file. For me this HUD is still too opaque when I go after ground targets. Therefore I continue to use my HUD mod, without the orange front glass but a far more transparent HUD. SCU Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 I think it's based on the real thing, as you can see in and in the attached image, where it's actually more yellowish than orange. Now granted these are Super Hornets, they are probably not too far off from a lot 20 Hornet when it comes to the front glass part.
