Adam
I was just wondering what is the reality when it comes to crosswind landings and aircraft carriers. Is there times that this would be done - or is it SOP to turn the carrier into wind for landings? If it is SOP - is there a simple way to trigger a carrier to turn into wind when there are aircraft inbound, and then resume course once aircraft are on deck? (Disregard this last question if it's not SOP for this to occur).
Cupra
If your carrier commander knows what to do you will nearly never have crosswind landing on a carrier... DCS F-16C Blk. 40/42 :helpsmilie: Candidate - 480th VFS - Cupra |
