Wheel Brake Purge

Let's the instructor fail the brakes from the back seat, scares the crap out of you since brakes are for steering as well.

In real Yak you have to squeeze the brake lever then set a lever lock that holds it full on.

 

Ideally the brake lever should be a slider, on/off results in a lot of tire squeal.

Yeah, still need a handbrake handle for my Spit too, until then I just use a pedal brake axis.

I think I created my own problem as I use a rocker switch for braking as my pedal brake axis doesn't work one side. On other aircraft it works fine using one rocker direction to brake and the other to set park, but in this case the brake is off in mid rocker position and so the park mode doesn't engage.
