Eddie Posted August 16, 2019 Share Posted August 16, 2019 Indeed. But more useful, and more accurate, would be for the tankers to set their speed based on the receiver aircraft type automatically. Optimum speeds for tankers and receiver combinations are in the publicly available NATO ATP-56.
