known issues:

 

1. F1 view, sound issue (engine, canopy, and cannon)

2. no inlet FOD control

3. HUD symbol EN only

4. no customized cockpit support

 

Internally fixed:

Dual-rack loadout: RBK-500, FAB-500

Its not just the F1 view. Most of the external sounds are missing or using the incorrect aircraft when viewed from F2.

Stick limiter override "Y Button" is not map-able to my stick.

issue for su-27 as well?

When the J-11A launches a radar missle on any other plane those planes do not get ANY warning when they are suppose to, (they also show up on other planes RWR as U (Unknown), https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=207187)

Shows up as Unk on F15 radar, and U on RWR. Its a flanker, the F15 should be able to at least incorrectly identify it as a Su27 (like it does Su33)

(And if you wouldn't mind getting ED to finally fix this for the M2000/Harrier etc too, that'd be great...)

Bug: R77 launched from the inner wing stations (pylon 3 and 8 ) eject off the launcher before the rocket ignites.

As I understand it it should fire while still on the launcher as the ER/ET do from pylons 3 and 8.

Nope, ejection first, ignition second.

All R-77s launched from AKU-170 (the only rack that carries R-77 on J-11A) will eject first, as it is a missile ejection rack.

I thought they didnt need to since the wing pylons were less likely to FOD the engine intakes with smoke.

Anyway, learnt something new today..

Yup, as LJQCN101 said, it's AKU-170, K is for Kataputlnoye, ejector.

All R-77s launched from AKU-170 (the only rack that carries R-77 on J-11A) will eject first, as it is a missile ejection rack.

It's not about pylon IMHO, it's about missile engine.

Can't tell if this should be called a bug or omission, but there is no autopilot override input for J-11A. Kinda makes attitude hold mode useless.

 

Besides that, the lack of TWS2 mode (like the one in MiG-29) significantly reduces the capability of R-77s, but it's not really a bug, especially that, I assume,

you're going to redo the HUD in Chinese anyway.

Cockpit sounds? I did singleplayer mission and my pilot and my wingmen talked chinese (mandarin?) to each other.

Hmm... for me only the radio is in Mandarin, the cockpit sounds and the HUD are in English.

My radio assist messages and bitching Betty are in English even though I selected Native language in the options :huh::(

Worth to mention: the replay track feature override your avionics language setting until exit

the avionics locale has some issue and reported (mixed symbols in EN and RU).

They said that RL J-11A HUD is in russian.

IRL, HUD and betty are in RU.

but like Su-27, it can be changed via Avionics language in Options.
