ED Team BIGNEWY Posted March 9, 2018 ED Team Share Posted March 9, 2018 (edited) Hi https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=197186 Q: Will the Hornet release with a manual? A: The Hornet will release with a Hornet Early Access Guide that will instruct you on how to fly and employ the aircraft. Once it is ready, we plan to release it early. As new features and functions are added during the Early Access phase, the guide will be updated to reflect this. Upon release of the final product, the full manual will be released. Q: Prior to release, what’s the best way to get a head start learning this aircraft? A: In addition to the videos we are providing, we suggest a careful read of the F/A-18 NATOPS. https://publicintelligence.net/u-s-navy-f-18-natops-flight-manuals/ hope that helps Edited March 9, 2018 by BIGNEWY Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Banzaiib
FYI, Page 319 of NATOPS manual lists startup procedures. https://info.publicintelligence.net/F18-ABCD-000.pdf I've read that far, twice now. I can't do it anymore until the module is released. :) I also found the JHMD alignment procedures interesting. It doesn't exactly have a diagram for what is displayed under normal operation, but it definitely lists what is not displayed (basically hud ladder and other potentially disorienting information). Man that's gonna be cool! Edited May 11, 2018 by Banzaiib
VIKBELL
Is there a checklist that can be printed up. There are 2 categories of fighter pilots: those who have performed, and those who someday will perform, a magnificent defensive break turn toward a bug on the canopy.
