Mother ship lighting

I have a question and I would like you to comment on what you think. "I leave a picture of the mother ship with this meteorology."

I am practicing landing on the mothership with fog and reduced visibility, my doubt is and I am not sure if the mothership should turn on the lights in these weather conditions,

at night the mother ship turns on the lights, but with this meteorology I do not make.

I think you should turn on the lights just like you do at night to have at least one visual reference. :smilewink:

Hi

Are you contacting ATC before making your approach?

Another issue is this; are we going to see this one day in the simulator ?, I edit my own missions and fly with another AI aircraft with which I communicate to give him orders during the flight.

I could do a mission where this AI can refuel my plane.

Hi everyone,

same issue for me and others friends…. since one ore 2 patch (I don't remember exactly) the Stennis don't turn on lights when we call it for landing (in low light conditions or bad weather).

I don't have track but if you need I can probably do one this we.

Have a nice day

I am pretty sure that if you have the cloud cover set to 9 or 10, the carrier will have its navigation and deck edge lights on at all times and will turn the landing area lights on when contacted for landing.

I was trying something similar yesterday. Just checked my mission and I have a cloud density of 10. During the day and in poor weather, the Stennis lit up, but with red lights, which frankly weren't that useful.

What was slightly amusing was that I flew towards a close by airfield, and that did have it's full white lights on.
