stun Posted December 17, 2017 Share Posted December 17, 2017 (edited) Hi, I am getting the following error when I try to deactivate Flaming Cliffs 2 on my Windows 10 machine: Internal error (error code: 0xE2003053). I assume it is due to an out of date version of Starforce that is being blocked by Windows. Anyone know how to fix this? Can the Protect exe be updated to allow it to run in Windows 10? Cheers UPDATE: I raised a ticket with ED support but was told that as the product is no longer supported they couldn't assist. RESOLUTION: in case it helps anyone else I contacted starforce directly and they were really helpful. The fix is to hold down shift and double click the application (Simulator.exe) which enables the starforce deactivation process to run correctly.
