How to prevent the other team for seeing waypoint flags for ground units?

Currently, if you have the F10 map up and swap slots, you will be able to see all ground unit waypoints for both teams.

Several questions:

1. How does swapping slots actually work? Upon swapping slots, is the game actually quickly cycling you through to spectators first before putting you in the desired plane?

2. If you join Spectators and open the F10 map, are you normally able to see waypoints for both sides?

3. Is it possible to disable spectator view of the F10 map? Maybe this would help/solve the problem?

+1 this sort of feature is sorely needed, we shouldn't need to trust the honor system to keep people from behaving as omniscient spies in a mission.

It can all be disabled in mission editor. We run our server so you are only able to see your own aircraft on the F10 Map and no ground units what so ever??

Which setting prevents spectators from seeing everything on the map? The ME F10 settings apply to players that have chosen slots, not to spectators. I have the F10 forced to Own A/C in the mission. Spectators can still see everything.

Also having this issue. Anyone get an answer on this?

You just need to select the unit you want to hide and check the box on the right side option " hidden on map". It won't appear on f10 from neither side. You can also go in the game option and activate f10 view for allies only so they can see other planes, but not the hidden ground units. I am not aware of any way to only hide the waypoints and not the unit themselves.

This got fixed since I started this thread.  Idk what they did, but the white flags do not show up any more
