SayusiAndo
Hi All, Recently I experience that the game (I play only A-10C in Caucasus and Nevada) got frozen. I can't decide whether it is a bug at my side or the game is buggy. Please find below the logs and setup I have. In the morning I got a quiet big update - 10G, but it did not help. The game gets frozen as before. Screenshots are attached about the setup I play the game. The task manager screenshot shows the processes after the game got frozen. The GPU process shows that the game and the GPU are disconnected (I don't have better expression for this, I'm not a game programmer - sorry :) ) because the GPU is not working anymore. In the log file (bottom of this post) there is no any suspicious message. Is there any info you need to figure out what is happening here? Elite Dangerous runs like a charm on this machine. === Log opened UTC 2018-03-15 09:46:15 2018-03-15 09:46:15.328 INFO VFS: Using 'Saved Games': "C:\Users\SayusiAndo\Saved Games" 2018-03-15 09:46:15.464 INFO DCS: DCS/2.5.0.15085 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.16299) 2018-03-15 09:46:15.464 INFO DCS: DCS revision: 135081 2018-03-15 09:46:15.464 INFO DCS: Renderer revision: 15903 2018-03-15 09:46:15.464 INFO DCS: Terrain revision: 16060 2018-03-15 09:46:15.464 INFO DCS: CPU cores: 4, threads: 8, System RAM: 32703 MB 2018-03-15 09:46:15.476 INFO EDCORE: (dDispatcher)enterToState_:0 2018-03-15 09:46:15.480 INFO Dispatcher: 2018/3/15 10:46 V1704040900 2018-03-15 09:46:15.489 INFO INPUT: Device [Keyboard] created deviceId = 1 2018-03-15 09:46:15.648 INFO INPUT: Device [saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals {7786CC00-A6AB-11e6-8001-444553540000}] created deviceId = 2 2018-03-15 09:46:15.648 INFO INPUT: Joystick created[saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals {7786CC00-A6AB-11e6-8001-444553540000}], ForceFeedBack: no 2018-03-15 09:46:15.657 INFO INPUT: Device [Mouse] created deviceId = 3 2018-03-15 09:46:15.662 INFO INPUT: Device [TrackIR] created deviceId = 4 2018-03-15 09:46:15.752 INFO SOUND: loaded 1261 sdefs from "sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:15.773 INFO SOUND: Using driver: xaudio29 2018-03-15 09:46:15.793 INFO SOUND: XAudio2: channel layout: FrontLeft FrontRight FrontCenter LowFrequency BackLeft BackRight SideLeft SideRight 2018-03-15 09:46:15.803 INFO SOUND: Found 2 available audio device(s): 2018-03-15 09:46:15.803 INFO SOUND: 0: ID: "\\?\SWD#MMDEVAPI#{0.0.0.00000000}.{8607ef4d-8637-44e0-9a21-1ad24f5e811f}#{e6327cad-dcec-4949-ae8a-991e976a79d2}", Name: "Speakers (Sennheiser Main Audio)" 2018-03-15 09:46:15.803 INFO SOUND: 1: ID: "\\?\SWD#MMDEVAPI#{0.0.0.00000000}.{cdb3f716-ffb9-4d24-bf4b-1e39f52fbb44}#{e6327cad-dcec-4949-ae8a-991e976a79d2}", Name: "Headset Earphone (Sennheiser Communication Audio)" 2018-03-15 09:46:15.803 INFO SOUND: Using SSE FTZ/DAZ mode. 2018-03-15 09:46:16.179 INFO NET: Login success. 2018-03-15 09:46:16.826 WARNING LOG: 1 duplicate message(s) skipped. 2018-03-15 09:46:16.826 INFO DCS: Successfully got authorization data. 2018-03-15 09:46:18.014 INFO Scripting: OBSOLETE mount_vfs_sound_path() used in ./CoreMods/aircraft/AJS37/entry.lua 2018-03-15 09:46:18.067 INFO Scripting: PLUGINS START------------------------------------------------- 2018-03-15 09:46:18.074 INFO SOUND: loaded 15 sdefs from ".\coremods\aircraft\av8bna\sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:18.082 INFO SOUND: loaded 9 sdefs from ".\coremods\aircraft\c-101\sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:18.086 INFO SOUND: loaded 12 sdefs from ".\coremods\aircraft\chinaassetpack\sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:18.097 INFO SOUND: loaded 19 sdefs from ".\coremods\aircraft\m-2000c\sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:18.100 INFO SOUND: loaded 10 sdefs from ".\coremods\aircraft\mig-21bis\sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:18.109 INFO SOUND: loaded 8 sdefs from ".\coremods\aircraft\sa342\sounds\sdef" 2018-03-15 09:46:18.129 INFO Scripting: PLUGINS DONE-------------------------------------------------- 2018-03-15 09:46:18.288 INFO Database: OBSOLETE mount_vfs_sound_path() used in ./CoreMods/aircraft/AJS37/entry.lua 2018-03-15 09:46:18.345 INFO Database: PLUGINS START------------------------------------------------- 2018-03-15 09:46:18.361 INFO Database: PLUGINS DONE-------------------------------------------------- 2018-03-15 09:46:18.366 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./CoreMods/aircraft/AV8BNA\bin\AV8B_AI.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:18.516 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/A-10C\bin\A10.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:18.550 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/A-10C\bin\Cockpit_A10Common.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:18.646 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/A-10C\bin\Cockpit_A10C.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:18.839 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/F-15C\bin\F15CCWS.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:18.891 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/F-15C\bin\F15.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:18.895 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/P-51D\bin\P51Base.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.059 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/P-51D\bin\P51B.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.086 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/P-51D\bin\Cockpit_P51Common.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.099 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/P-51D\bin\Cockpit_P51D.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.100 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/TF-51D\bin\P51Base.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.101 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/TF-51D\bin\TF51D.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.105 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/TF-51D\bin\Cockpit_P51Common.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.110 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded ./Mods/aircraft/jsAvionics\bin\jsAvionics.dll 2018-03-15 09:46:19.110 ERROR WorldPlugIns: Failed to read serial number for 'A10C-BFT_campaign' 2018-03-15 09:46:19.147 INFO DX11BACKEND: Driver Concurrent Creates - SayusiAndo
Hi SayusiAndo ED currently have a memory problem, and ongoing optimisations that maybe having an effect on your issue in the open beta. Are you running triple screens? 5760x1080 and are you running as a single screen? try running with three view port setup in options, some have reported this being more stable Thank you for the fast answer! Yep, it runs as a single screen and takes 3 monitors. This way I like it. I tried the following: - enable surround in Nvidia Control panel (I assume in this case not the game manages the screens and monitors, rather nvidia itself) --> the game fails - nvidia surround is not enabled but the game is configured to take the 3 monitor as a single screen - this you can see in the screenshot I posted previously As for memory issue, I understand there might be memory management issue when you deal with that huge beast as DCS is. Can I help somehow? Is there a config where log produced can be used for debugging, etc? Until there is a fix I'll play the game only a single screen, single monitor. Question, the memory issue also occurs with VR too?
