Gosche
Hi all, A question from a complete newbie, in both DCS and flightsim. I have DCS worlds 1.5.8 and trying to learn to fly the A-10C. My problem is with the text labels on the buttons, not all of them. The button text on the front dash looks fine, and the same goes for the right and left consoles, but only on the buttons near the front. The further away from the front the button text is, the more blurry it gets. the button text at the "back", of the left and right consoles are not readable, it looks like very poor resolution. Bad situation when in "learning mode" and cannot read the labels properly. I've watched a lot of instruction videos, and they look fine when describing and zooming in on the buttons at the back of the cockpit. Can it be a setting somewhere that I haven't located yet, even I have been playing around with graphics setting, and it has not helped. I'm running a resolution of 1920x1080. I could go to 3840x2160 but since the PC also is being used for other application, where everything then becomes very small to look at, I have kept it at 1920x1080. My pc specs are: i7-4770K 3,5 GHz, 16 GB Ram (2100MHz), MSI GTX 1080Ti Gaming, 2x500GB SSD in RAID0 (Samsung EVO), Trackir5 (and Oculus rift for VR). Any suggestion please for improving the readability of the cockpit text ? Many thanks in advance.:helpsmilie:

Sideslip
Change cockpit res to 1024 from 512 ;) Cockpit res is the resolution of the displays, not the textures. Only effects things like the MFDs/targeting pod/shikval. System specs: i7 3820 @4.75Ghz, Asus P9X79LE, EVGA GTX1080SC @2100mhz, 16GB Gskil DDR3 @ 2000mhz, 512GB 960EVO m.2, 2 X 512GB 860EVO SATA3 in RAID0, EVGA Supernova 850W G2, Phantek Entho Luxe White. CPU and GPU custom water-cooled with 420mm rad and lots of Noctua fans. ASUS PG348Q. VKB Gladiator Pro w/MCG, X-55 throttle and MFG Crosswind. Shadow KT
I've made request before, to have cockpit textures as a different option..... but to no avail 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days
Joker69
You’ve got a very good hardware, even GPU has a great power.. so You have no problem to switch almost all options to Hi-Res.. everything will look better, not only A-10 cockpit. For cockpit Res I have “1024 every frame”. All other values to high.
