Westland Lynx

Any word on the Lynx?

This is one of my favourite helicopters and I hope to be flying its replacement the Wildcat within a few years so any news on a rough ETA or any progress whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

The Lynx is more more exciting for me, but each to their own. I have all the DCS modules (bar the C-101) But I never really fly the Helicopters, something I will change when this beauty comes along. The Chinook also, I'm always shocked by the way it seems to defy physics at airshows.

I still like jumping into the Shark and throwing it about aerobatically and in combat. Makes a nice change from the jets :)

I too am looking forward to seeing the Chinook in DCS, not had a chance to get inside a Lynx but I have had a chance to crawl all over a Chinook :)

Had a great chat with the crew along with a film show and lecture about it's operation in Afghanistan, it is one mighty impressive aircraft!
