Drawings, images, original instruction books, history books,i see the 205 in the museum, here in italy, all the times i need,my mates give me a lot of reference, last but not last 25 years of experience in mech systems,hydraulic/pneumatic,industrial constructions, aeronautical constructions...that mean...if there is no drawings or image i can "suppose near as possible" how a system was.

That is why my Macchi will be a choice of the solution that i love more on the various assembly during the Macchi Castoldi planes history.
Without moving away from what was actually possible.

This will make my model credible but also unique.

An example: the Ammo counter, there are not less than 4 different types of ammo counter for the 202/205 series, not less than two different (guns and cannons) displays.
But i love the "cylinder counter" design, and like an assembly on the field, i use two of this counter to have a better simmetry on the wepons panel.

Such as "Nico Sgarlato" says in it's book about the "205 Veltro" hybrid version beetwen 202 and 205 or improvised assembly were not rare especially towards the end of the conflict, they were not rare especially towards the end of the conflict.

That mean a "Serie 3" was not really a "Serie 3" assembly.

It is this philosophy that inspires me while keeping intact the real functionality of the vehicle.

Bye
