Redglyph
Hello, I made a few tests today with the landing gear when the hydraulic pressure is down. This has been done with DCS 1.5.4.55952.150. The aircraft was initially flying at about 150 kts, - I released the hydraulic pressure with the emergency release valve, => the pressure gauge went to zero, and the landing gear doors opened, - I put the gear lever down, => the front gear let itself down, and ultimately locked, => the tail wheel never lowered. At this stage, I have the following observations: - the front wheels come down, but even though they're not locked, rocking the plane doesn't show any movement on their part, the gear should be loose and move about, instead they are shown in their locked position, - the tail wheel does not come down, I cannot even see the door opened. That's the one gear part that usually locks without any problem. I then proceeded to re-establish hydraulic pressure: - I closed the emergency release valve, => the pressure gauge showed an increase of pressure and got back to normal, - I tried to click the gear lever, or use the shortcut, several times, => nothing happened! The front landing gear remained down, the lever did not move. Here, the observations: - the lever remains down, and with it the front wheels of course, no matter what I try, even though the pressure is back, - the tail wheel stays up. I'm pretty sure this behaviour is not accurate, or did I do something wrong? EDIT: did the same test with a programmed hydraulic failure, but same results regarding tail wheel. The front wheels do look a bit loose though, so scratch this one. Zabuzard
You are right. This bug is already known, like here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=154229
Redglyph
Err, that's pretty old, isn't it? Not really a major issue, but landing in those conditions would be very dangerous. You didn't have any feedback on this, apparently? Zabuzard
You are right, it is pretty old. There is also a post of 2012 which mentioned the same problem. I got no feedback back then.
Redglyph
Anyone from the support, please? Could this be fixed?
