You can already do that(sort of) in DCS. It will just take a bit of time and good bit of scripting. The only thing missing is mission editing while the mission is running, unfortunately you can only edit missions when in the menu GUI.

Communication between vehicle crews and the player(s). Friendly AI aircraft call out bandits with coordinates, your wingmen will call out if they are engaged, defensive. If they are ejecting. It would be really helpful if the tactical commander would be privy to radio chatter of this nature. I assume vehicle crews would report if they just lost a vehicle or were under fire.

Default Need Help with Combined Arms w-WIN10 and DirectX 12

I need some advice. I'm not having any luck running Combined Arms. The initial DCS screen loads and then craps out. I have 8Gb RAM, running on a NVIDIA GT220, WIN 10 and DirectX 12. Any ideas how to get this to run?

GT220 has very old, you have bellow minimum requirements, you require a Dx11 compatible graphic board with more memory.

Please add optical tracking mode to Osa and Tor SAM ! (So that when aiming crosshair at these aircraft, chaff won't defeat missile)

Please give feedback on this, Wags. It is a really important game mechanic for multiplayer to have realistic optical tracking mode on these both SAM vehicles.

Yeah, flares should defeat that tracker instead ... or ECM, or what have you. Both of those SAMs use command-guidance. Without the radar they might not be able to receive good information to program their fuzes with, so they may fuze on chaff as well.

It's a lot more complicated than your simple wish to make them undefeatable. The main mode of operation is with the radar. Everything else should perform worse. Just adding optical tracking alone does not make them more realistic - other way around, actually.

Main problem is missiles will slam into ground when airplane is diving. I am quite sure Russians built a system into it that prevents missile from diving low within 2 seconds after launch OR even without diving below 10 meters above ground. What do you know about this That's? (Thx for replying btw)
