IR signature isn’t that bad, 6.5Nm on AB head on

IR signature is certainly not correct. The system is set up in a way that the IR signature is derived by the power of the engine, its bypass ratio (try this with an A-10), and the thrust of the afterburner. As the lone outlier in the system, where should share a signature with another existing model, it must be brought in line. If you think the system is wrong, make that case separately.

Be a great time for it, as ED is correcting and addressing the AIM-7 and AIM-9 for the Hornet. Making them what they are supposed to be. If you can show they're making them wrong, please do so.

No, the ouliers are 3rd party planes Vs ED planes. (6.5Nm Vs 7Nm is nothing head on)

Given the importance of R-27T/ET I can guess why F-15/ 16 have such IR signature.

However, you don’t have anything else that your outliers story to support your claim. You despise AIM-9L source, but nothing else to support 12Nm head on lock Vs F-16...
