Random sudden engine failures have plagued the 190 for as long as I can remember. So, no, it's not fixed :) What seems to help is, when you start a mission in the air, only start with ~half throttle. Then engage the MW50 system and throttle up. Seems to kill the engine less often than starting the mission at full throttle and just hitting E.
