I've noticed that just about every jet sound mod out there gets quieter as the jet passes the camera, with a strange "whoosh" noise, when it should be at its loudest point instead. Can I download the original file from somewhere? If you copy the "Sounds" folder into your main DCS directory - overwrite any files it asks. I'd suggest making a backup before installing any sort of mod in the future, so that you can revert back to the vanilla if necessary. You can choose to "Repair DCS World" from one of the executables, which will re-download any assets the game finds that aren't native.
