What's new in 2.0.0 ?

Don't find changelog for this version ?

It hasn't been released yet, IG only posted a teaser for an upcoming update. Sounds awesome btw, was the high-speed 'whisking' sound ever squashed?

Are these limitations on how the game handles sound files part of why flyby sounds tend to go quiet? I've noticed that just about every jet sound mod out there gets quieter as the jet passes the camera, with a strange "whoosh" noise, when it should be at its loudest point instead.

EXACTLY my feeling!

What am I doing wrong? After I copied the files it sounds lot worse, i can bearly hear it in F3.

Can I download the original file from somewhere?

If you copy the "Sounds" folder into your main DCS directory - overwrite any files it asks. I'd suggest making a backup before installing any sort of mod in the future, so that you can revert back to the vanilla if necessary.

You can choose to "Repair DCS World" from one of the executables, which will re-download any assets the game finds that aren't native. Sound mods are relatively simple to install, it is literally as easy as copy/paste.
