DieHard
In controllers' profile setup in Options / Controls , where does this reside in C: ? -+- I run the OpenBeta on a copy I put on my SSD labeled M: I did all my controllers profile setup on my M: drive, NOT the OpenBeta in C: I went to my C: drive OpenBeta to go through the controllers' profile setup there and found it already set up as I did on my M: drive . I'm guessing Options / Controls profile setup must reside in Saved Games somewhere... under Users/My name ? But not... *************************************Still on Windows 7 Pro Edited June 17, 2018 by DieHard [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

DieHard
C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta for options and controls How does my C: drive OpenBeta already have my controllers' profile setup when I did everything on my M: (Solid State Drive) ?? Must be the "Saved Games" OpenBeta is universal to all 2.5.2 (current time-line) drives . Thanks for the reply. Art-J
Well, it has to store the assignments somewhere anyway for these guys who don't use save/load profile feature, like me. To narrow down what BN wrote above, it's the \Config\Input sub-folder. That's the one worth backing up. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted June 18, 2018 ED Team Share Posted June 18, 2018 No matter where you install DCS your saved games folder on your C drive will be used for settings, inputs, missions, logbook and so on. Each install will have its own one, for example C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS ( release version ) C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta ( openbeta ) Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
