Default GTX1080ti power supply question

So I got my new video card today, and come into a bit of a conundrum.

A lot of my stuff is in storage 1500 miles away, along with all of my power cables for my power supply, and currently only have one 6 pin cable to the power supply. This cable has only two 6 pins and one 6+2 pin connector. The video card requires two 8 pin connectors, the adapters themselves have two 6 pin connectors there for a total of four 6 pin connectors for two 8 pins. What do I need to get this to work without needing to purchase a new power supply??

For Corsair and Seasonic you could order a new cable set or just a specific cable, like the one with 2 x 8-Pin. Amazon or ebay is your friend.

You can try with adapters 6->8 but YMMV

The 1080Ti need 250-300w.
The PCI Express slot on the motherboard can provide 75w. The 6-pin connector can provide 75w, the 8-pin (or 6+2 pin) 150w. At least, you need one 6-pin and one 8-pin to the card. 75w+75w+150w.
NVIDIA Inspector can tell you the power use (wattage) of your card.

It can and will go above 300w if you overclock and torture it, been there, just mind that when you think "PSU"

Right now its currently sitting at 15w without a load, but plays GTA5 without any problems maxed out. Its working, but fairly certain its not getting enough juice. Living out in the sticks sucks, its a 3 hour drive to the nearest computer store and I managed to get "something" to work but I have it running straight off of one PCIE cable and not 2.
