Server drop out Investigation - maximum of 2 logins per account.

Hi all,

 

the team are looking into a fix for servers disappearing from the server list and have enabled only 2 simultaneous logins per user / account.

 

If you are seeing 401 errors please ensure you only have a maximum of 2 logins per account for your servers.

 

So if you are running multiple servers you can only run two per account.

 

If you wanted to run more it would require another account.

 

You still only need one dedicated server, and you can run multiple servers from it, but only two logins per account.

 

This will help us in our debugging

Is this only for now while you guys are investigating you've limited it for 2 servers per account?

 

To be clear we are not limiting how many servers you can run.

 

You can still run as many servers as you like, but you can only login twice to the same account.

 

you can have multiple accounts.

 

This is for debugging reasons, when and if this changes I will let you all know.

Thanks for the information, I can confirm we've suffered this problem since the last two OB build. We are usual to have 3 instances run 24/7, now we've moved one instance on another account and our servers are now displayed in the server list.

 

Since we're running full installation with --norender --server I need to have maps on server account, please keep us updated on the FIX :thumbup:

 

Let us know if u need some other test, like same account but different server/IP or something like that.

We have been seeing servers dropping from the list for a while, the team have enabled debug for data collection, but to do that we needed to implement only two logins per account, this will help us, and may also be part of the reason for servers dropping out, but once we know for sure I will let everyone know.

Hi. As per your suggestion we stopped our third server and restarted the other 2. The servers stay in the list for an hour or so then they disappear

Our server(s) appear fine in the GUI but they disappear after a few hours in the DCS server list. I don't see any errors.

 

Is this the server issue you're discussing here?

 

Oddly enough we could not get our combat server to run using 10308 and had to put it on another port after the update. Anyone else have that issue?

I'm still having a similar but different issue. My servers both show up (and also in the WebGUI) but after and undefined period of time, one of them will drop off the WebGUI , does the above apply to the WebGUI too are just the ingame browser!

 

The investigation is for server browser drop out.

 

A reminder for all we have a scheduled maintenance of our servers, DCS website and E-Shop, Game login with license check, Module Manager and Multiplayer (master server) services will be unavailable on Tuesday, November 19 starting at 04:00 AM UTC.

servers have been dropping from both.

no problem with sending logs .... tho last time this went wrong, nothing was logged in dcs.log, server just up and disspeared like a fart in the wind

 

Sometimes we see timeouts,

 

but let me know anyway, have you noticed an improvement?
