It sounds like you’ve joined the club

Mine bricked after ~3.5 years. I’m hesitant to give TM any more of my money for a replacement board.

Looks Like it,

My neighbor's Throttle also went during the snow storm,

Suspect Brown Outs, or Freq. Dips the APC Unit didn't catch, due to everyone running heaters.

That’s certainly possible but TM’s circuitry clearly is lacking industry standard ESD / surge protection circuitry. These types of failures simply shouldn’t happen with such high frequency.

They just sent me an email stating that they just initiated a payment request...WTF does that even mean. They never sent me an invoice or even explain to me who to pay for the part....I'm sorry but TM support is the worst I don't care what you say about them. They either don't understand English very well or they are dicking around and I for one don't think its a good way to conduct business. Again now I'm waiting for I don't even know what to be sent to me...Its ridiculous...Wish to god I could call them and find out what the hell is going on.

***Update I sent payment via Paypal for 28.30 for my sensor I needed and I sent picture of the part I need along with the description of it and where its located on the Joystick. Lets see if I get the right part...Ill keep ya updated.***

OK so here's my update. I received my new sensor and YES it was the correct one needed. Now here's the kicker. Its came from a company here in the USA. Indiana to be precise. I don't understand the need to having to buy it from this company outside of the U.S. when I can get it from this company from within the U.S. So I am now on a mission to find a contact from this company or one in the US that fill any future orders....

Final update stick fixed..

Hope you don't mind a slight necro: a Ferrite bead on the PCB to my joystick base got busted (FB9, close to USB VCC). Open circuit, windows ain't picking up squat. Do you guys think I should replace that part or is an arduino solution possible? Not a big deal since I have a MT-50 on the way, just wanna see if I can fix it!

new pcb is installed, took 2 minutes, woulda been quicker if they didnt put so much hot glue,

Everything checks out except AP Engage (Button 26), it seems to be stuck down.

So After looking at everything,

Clearly the Chip went poof during the snow storm.

Despite my Systems being behind APC

Sometimes components fail on their own. Also, the switch from the wall to the battery is never as smooth as we would like, unless you an industrial scale UPS.
