The problem goes away running at 1920x1200, so it appears that the issue is caused by running my eyefinity setup at 5760x1200

Hmm, that's where my 'confusion' came from, I have a 1080p monitor.. So this is a problem for monitors at 4k, maybe 2k, that's why I saw no problems on my side. I apolligise guys.

So I hope the devs' fix doesn't affect us low resolution people, just the affected resolutions .

HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog

PC: it's much better now

Definitely eyefinity.

Using the standard 1 monitor config and selecting 5760x1200 as the resolution (1200p monitors, not 1080p)

I see similar problems running on a single 2k screen:

Especially when setting left MDI to HSI mode everything is a lot more blurred and the fonts seem to get thicker compared to the other displays or even the HUD.

What you're seeing on your left DDI is because the sun is shining directly on it, turn so the sun is not shining on it anymore and you have a normal font there.

Sigh, new update came out today and I was hoping ED would address the fix, but nothing. :( This issue should be prioritized higher up the list because it seems that people who run the game in very high resolutions like myself are having difficulty reading the HUD and DDI screens.

I was thinking something was wrong with me, my computer or my screen...

Now I can see actually many people are complaining, my case is exactly as someone ahead already reported:

"same for me with 3440x1440, once you zoom in closer it gets better", I'll add *and play with the HUD/DDI brightness setting.

DCS please look into this as it is quite annoying...
