Rift CV1 audio issues with latest Oculus Patch

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone else is having issues using the CV1 headphones and DCS after updating to the latest Oculus Patch?

Before the patch everything worked fine, now however the audio works on the headset right upto the point I load into DCS. At that point I lose all audio through the headset.

IF I use external speakers only the audio works fine, if I exit DCS I get audio back through the rift. I’ve tried setting it up so the pc only uses the rift headset exclusively but again all works fine right upto the point I enter DCS..

I’m at a complete loss at what to try next, I’m guessing it’s some kind of audio pass through issue. Just wondering if any other CV1 users have the same issue, or is it purely me.

Isn't there a setting in DCS "use headset audio" or something like that ? Maybe in the VR settings ?

There is, but sadly the problem is still there whether this is ticked or not

Check your sound devices.

There may be a new sound device now referred to as " Headphones- Oculus Virtual Audio Device. Try selecting that one if there is. After Oculus update that gave us Link they added that as new sound device. Shortly after I showed two, that one and the old Rift S Sound device. Now I only show the one Virtual Audio Device and it is working as expected.

Hmmm. I’ve just just fired up DCS after a couple of months absence, using Rift CV1 and Thrustmaster headphones. Like OP, my headphones work fine until I’m in DCS. Then there’s no sound at all. I’ve tried ticking all the headphones options in turn in DCS audio settings, but to no avail. I’m at a loss too ...
