Unhappy Saitek Cyborg EVO and Crash...

When i use the game WITH my SAITEK cyborg EVO joystick, the game crashes each moment I want to start flying.
First it gives me a loading screen and then BOOM.
After some more seconds the debrief window appears.

If I unplug the joystick on the other hand, I can continue to play after the loadscreen. It is extremely stupid of course without joystick...

Any ideas? Anything usefull i can do?

Just bought the game via Steam on 7/9/2011

My rig: Windows7-64bit with i7 X980 @ 3,33ghz and 6GB RAM
with 2 x Nvidia GeForce with 1,5GB RAM each

Kind regards,

Nimitz

You have checked for updates for the joystick?
It was working before and stopped?
Are you using another USB plug from a previous plug?
Have you added other USB devices sense your last good game play?

Just pulled out my old one, it seems to working fine, also running latest patch in 7-64 bit, haven't updated the stick for years so I doubt it's drivers. Are you both steam users? There's been a lot of bugs with that version.

ok thanks, you might want to try a reinstall. Unless you've already done it. I'm heading off tommorow for a few days but I'll try to keep thinking.

Is it only 1109 that it breaks on, (can you try going back to 110, and when getting 1109 did you get the patch or the full install, just patching can create problems

yes it's only the 109. it's the full install no patch
every other game (fsx, cliff of dover etc) is still working with evo force, also with force feedback

attached the dxdialog
