incredible! please rework the soviet skin, too. please try to align the different colors of the camo patterns. the edges fit not very good when skin displayed on the 3-d-model. for instance green meets brown with a very sharp edge without transition and so on. . .

Hello Flanker!
I'm not a professional. I've gone to great lengths to add only the lines. Most of the photos on the photos are already exposed to the weather. So what makes a lot of work for the presentation. I created more than 1000 layers while working with the paint and the work label. I transcend the transitions of the colors with the wiping finger tool. Unfortunately, I have no time for more. Finally, I have to work as well. I hope Cubanace will release the paintkit soon. Then have fun painting.

In this video at 20min you can see an Mig-23UB in real combat A-A configuration, they never carry R-23/24 missiles. Mig-23UB never use APU-23M. See instead BD3 pylon with Apu-13 or Apu-60

You're right, because the original MIG-23UB had no radar, it could only use the R-60MK and S-3S missiles. The MIG-23ML can use both SARH (23R / T and 24R / T) and R-60. In Angola, Cubans used the MF for A / G exclusively, the ML for CAP, the UB was for passive SCOUT operations.

Hello Tim ! A very nice model and it would be very good if it could find a place in the mods of DCS. You're doing a good modeling job but texturing is not so good. take the textures of the UB and pack them in your model folder and then look at your model. you had a bumpmap (fuzser_nohq.png) integrated. in the ub-mod this is not integrated. but the texture of this is contained in the last update of cubanace as dds. I have made these only on the basis of the lines and points (rivets) to get a better external view. Since the bumpmap was not activated in the model, I saw the possibility to realize this with the roughmet and it looks better. I chose the textures in 8196x8196, which should not be a problem today due to the mb capacities. only when saving the psd in dds it takes a little longer. should this model be realized in DCS, I will soon be able to create paints, a bluprintvorlage for the mig-23 I already have the corresponding work label. would be nice who you would anm with edm formats and scripts would deal. ED lacks good AI models. especially ships and planes. No an-12 in its variants. a berijev 12 or even 200 would be nice too. Unfortunately, there is no particular movement in the model improvement at the UB. The front fender is not modeled. The arch of the cockpit (hood) is not correct and the mirror view is 90 degrees and not just horizontal. These are just small things, the mat could have been correct for a long time. One thing about both models of you, the chassis seems to me to be narrow in its width. I would like to wish you a broad commitment to DCS and this community to realize beautiful moments with detailed models.

Default Hope it is OK - DCS streamlined icons

Hello,

Hope it is OK, I have streamlined icons as per DCS style - plain, blue halo, and white halo, also added 3D effect and a slightly different shadow.

Thank you for this awesome mod.
