Hey guys,

You've done an awesome job bringing some extra aircraft and assets to the game with the Harrier, would it be possible for you to do the same with this module?

I ask as Eagle Dynamics are always working on their's, but it's a slow haul and with the MiG-19 being a 1960's era plane, it would be awesome if you guys could bring some other 1960's era AI content along with it.

Specifically, I'm thinking along the lines of the An-12 Cub and the Tu-16 Badger. They'd fit in very very nicely with missions and campaigns for the era and DCS is sorely missing a lot of assets from this period.

Anyways, great job on the MiG-19!

While you're at it, don't ask for only AI, buddy :music_whistling:

Two reasons:

I dont want to be too greedy :)

and period-appropiate AI is really important for editing believable missions.

And Su-7B to escort! And RB-series and U-2 for historical scenarios! And early cold war era airfield vehicles! And US century fighterbobmbers! Seriously, would gladly pay for a 50s-60s pack like there is WWII pack.

Big +1 on that. Some 50-60's Opfor for the mig19 would be great. F100, F105, F104 all come to mind. On the red team a SU-7 to escort would be fun.

New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1)

Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really).

I'd rather see module or map prices go up to support assets than asset packs themselves. I really see them as splintering the player base. Work deserves to be paid for, but I don't like seeing people left out because they don't have the assets or squadrons end up not using them at all so everyone with the bird can play.

On that note - looks like I will be removing the WW2 assets from the campaign. They may work well with slow bombers, but against early 1960s technology the AAA just isn't quick enough :)

Hi BD,

What a shame, but I understand. Don’t you think they would add a bit of immersion for that matter, although ineffective combat wise?

Looking forward to flying it.

Take care,

Sydy

May i be so bold as to suggest training missiles for Mig-19P, for those(very few i gather)of us that want to do realistic training.

From the wikipedia(probably not the best source):

"Three training versions were also developed. The R-3U ("uchebnaya", training) was an empty missile body with a homing set, allowing pilots to get used to the aiming of the system. The R-3P ("prakticheskaya", practice) was a complete missile without an explosive warhead. The RM-3V ("raketa-mishen", target-missile) served as an aerial target"

Thank's for reading.
