BitMaster
yeah, I had no problem with that tbh, I run Linux for years on servers and on some desktops. Given some effort and Vulkan, gamers could leave Windows behind, no question. The industry would have to adopt too, but make no mistake, they all follow the money, and we have that, not them. Boberro
Whenever I configure hardware, an OS is always a choice so people usually don't buy it with hardware. Perhaps it depends of the country, but for years I haven't heard that somebody from my friends would buy Windows lol Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... FlyingTexan
I buy Windows 10 pro on ebay. You get a key sent to you within a few minutes. It's about $5 and activates and works great with Microsoft. Done it for my past 3 systems with zero issues.
FragBum
Just checking on the time of release ?? If true it's just a money grab by m$ As enthusiasts we build high end PCs and bleed when paying out about $200 to get a ligit license that corporations pay $20 or so for enterprise version. I remember when m$ decided to charge more for more than 1 or 2 processors remember? Guess m$ feels they need to be as greedy as adob-be and ilk. Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.
