I guess more of a request than anything. Did some searching and didnt find much.
it would be awesome to change the sea's without adding winds. makes for a great scenario for the F18. Pitching deck. Unless someone knows how to do this without added wind

Whilst I get the common sense of linking sea to wind, the wind can do some funny buggy stuff to carrier decks just now until fixed and often you just want the deep sea feeling without the fuss.

This would be a nice option. Large swells can be generated by storms from a distance without local wind and white caps. Large glassy swells are a surfers dream. So yes, a real world condition that does exist. So why not? Not sure what it would take by ED and surely a wish list item of ultra low prioity even if considered.

i had selected Storms (didnt matter which season), maxed out the Turbulence of 197 (not sure the significance of a max of 197 means), and reduced surface the winds.
the swells also reduced. it seems that the sweet spot for winds were 16kts (mph??) it gave an OK pitching deck. with the carrier moving at 11kts would give our groups several hours(???) before having to restart the MIZ due to running out of room.
