Everytime a new DLC is released, the version number change, so 2.5.1 could be DCS: F/A-18C or DCS: Persian Gulf. But both DLC a scheduled for End of MAY or SPRING!

 

Also with the internet problems in Russia at the moment, the update traffic will be small - take a look in the Notices.

I did not know the number change with new DLC.

I don't completely understand about the WWII assets pack. There will be a $5 increase. I get that but what about those of us who already have the assets pack? We don't have but part of what was promised. Does this mean we'll have to pay another $5 to get an updated version?

I'm pretty sure the price increase only applies to people who don't already have bought the assets pack. I can almost guarantee you that you won't have to pay for the upgrade as this would be pretty ridiculous.

What is "Flow Vision", a particular process, or a specific product?

A software suite the allows one to use a Sealed 3D model to re-create wind tunnel data virtually,

Good for:

-Old Airframes that have no Publicly available windtunnel data

-New Airframes that have no Publicly available windtunnel data

-ProtoType Airframes that no Publicly available windtunnel data

I'm excited for the SA-2! I was wondering what happened to it a while back (after the initial announcement).

What altitude/range will ED program the SA-2 MEZ at? Because I'm seeing variations of technical data on different websites.

25000m/45km (wiki page), 18288m/43.5km (USAF National Museum page), ect...

I would love to start mission planning with the ranges in mind! Just throw down a zone, and fill it in with the system once available :)

The SA-2 we are getting is not Dvina however, that's Volkhov

Max distance 43/56 km

Min distance 7 km

Ceiling 30 km, on stationary target up to 35 km

Max target speed hot/cold is 420/1100 m/s

Max 1 target per battery, 3 missiles per target

Can engage 0.7 targets per minute.

Yup, the missile could be a V-755 (20D), most likely, or V-760 (15D), which would be rather overkill and less likely to be in game due to it having a 15kt nuclear warhead. These missiles looks similar to most of the rest of the family with the exception of the 17D, 19D and 22D. The V-750 Dvina missile has the short pitot on the nose. The V-755 has a longer pitot which is the tell as far as the missile is concerned. What really gives it away as a S-75M Volkov is the RSN-75V (Fan Song E) as seen in the ED screenshots. It's actually a much more capable system than the S-75 Dvina... Being that the Dvina was mentioned specifically, maybe we will be getting both to shoot at.:smilewink:

From memory I think Urga Media are the remnants from the CLOD team , but my ram aint what it used to be so I could be wrong.

Or you could just look at the SM-90 launcher, only used for Volkhov system.

I really hope an update for today but i think they need more time taking in count the new things they want to include.

Aall i want is the MP issues to be fixed.

This is the most important fix in my opinion. hell its been a LONG time, so lets hope they finally fix it.
