Default New sling load cargo

I don't know if they were done by BST or somebody else, but regardless - thanks, it makes the whole experience better. Anyway, I'm wondering... a lot of the new stuff is very heavy. Both the short and long pipes and short and long logs are around 5 tons. Some of the containers can also be very heavy. The Mi-8 is rated for 3 tons, the Huey - less than 2 tons. So my question is... why so many heavy loads?

Hi Imp,
I believe the cargo models are Upuauts and I imagine the slider for weight is to future proof when the CH54 is released

Sure, but some of those loads (the ones I mentioned, logs and pipes) have fixed weights, significantly beyond the Mi-8's capacity. And some of the containers can be barely lifted if you set the slider to minimum.

Some of the cargos are greyed and aren´t selectable.

Its only me or they are not already available?

Oh sorry I never noticed. I have mods loaded which made it difficult to see what was new and what was in my mod pack. Never noticed any without sliders

I have no idea what you have or don't have but I'm curious if what you have isn't part of (or a derivative of) Eightball's "Forestry Operations" which includes (or rather requries) Upuaut's Cargo & Object mod.

If it helps at all, here are two related links regarding Forestry Ops and the Cargo Mod.

Well somehow there is a way to carry 5 tons externally, but I don't know what "new structure" means, specifically.
